Course Description
Understand the Risks Before You Rely on the Rewards
It seems like people are using AI tools like ChatGPT for everything—from writing poems and emails to drafting reports and analyzing data. The problem? Many professionals don’t realize they’re jeopardizing confidentiality or relying on content that’s built on “facts” that don’t exist. Before tapping into the benefits of AI, it’s essential to understand the risks.
This workshop introduces key AI concepts and highlights where things can go wrong—so you can learn to use AI tools with more confidence and less risk.
You’ll learn how to:
- identify risks at every stage—input, processing, and output
- understand how AI tools handle data and where vulnerabilities exist
- recognize inaccurate or fabricated content before it’s shared
- spot situations that could compromise confidentiality
- explore basic prompting practices to reduce risk
AI is a valuable tool—but only when it is used responsibly. This session gives you the foundation to avoid costly mistakes and protect your work, your reputation, and your organization.
